My Approach
Hi, I am Michelle. I'm a registered counsellor, clinical supervisor and relationship coach based in Singapore.

As a person-centered and trauma-informed psychotherapist trained in expressive art therapies, my approach is rooted in deep empathy, authenticity and unconditional positive regard.

I believe in creating a safe and collaborative space where clients feel comfortable to be truly seen and heard. Drawing from evidence-based practices, I integrate tailored interventions that support healing and growth. I also incorporate creative tools to access deeper emotional insight and self-expression.

My goal is to meet each person where they are, honoring their unique story and inner wisdom and to walk alongside them in their journey toward greater well-being and relationship healing.

My Specialties Include

EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a trauma-focused therapy that helps your brain process and heal from difficult experiences.
Instead of traditional talk therapy which requires verbal recounting of memories, EMDR uses eye movements or other bilateral stimulations, such as tapping, to focus on a distressing memories and reduce the emotional intensity. The goal is to help people move forward with greater peace and confidence as they become less triggered by the past.

Expressive Art Therapy
Expressive Arts Therapy incorporates various art forms (music, visual art, writing. drama etc.) and creative processes to help patients pursue personal growth, healing and self-expression.
It is particularly helpful for those who find it difficult to articulate their feelings verbally, allowing them to access deeper levels of self-awareness and process emotions through a holistic and creative method.
The therapeutic tool guides people to process their thoughts and feelings, rather than focusing on the final result.
